Jan Anhalt
Co-founder
Bio
Jan Anhalt co-founded My Mirai and is responsible for the overall direction of My Mirai.
He has a BBA majoring in management at Mount Royal University, but has gained vast know-how in the luxury service industry as well as in the private education industry through his involvement as a founder of a luxury menswear brand tailored to HNWI across North America. An English coach/tutor for executives, Tokyo University graduates, government officials, public figures.

Akemi Arai

Bio
Akemi co-founded My Mirai and responsible for the overall management of the organisation.
Akemi Arai is a graduate of Kyoto University of the Arts whose expertise spans project management, facilities management, spatial design, and social media marketing. Over the course of her career she served as a project manager at multinational firms, directing several projects with annual budgets of up to ¥100 million and specialising in strategic scheduling and stakeholder coordination.

Hiroyuki Horikawa
Director & Head Counselor
Bio
Hiroyuki is My Mirai’s Director / Head Counselor and is responsible for the director of our counseling services and supports our counseling team.
Hiroyuki is a Specially Appointed Professor in the Child Education Course of the Department of Inclusive Society Studies at Kyoto Nishiyama Junior College, where he also serves as Director of the Library. He holds a doctorate in medicine from Kyoto University and is qualified as both a Speech-Language-Hearing Therapist and a Certified Public Psychologist.
Over the course of his career he has held a range of specialist roles within Japan's public health and welfare system, a child psychologist in a child guidance centre, a welfare officer for people with intellectual disabilities, and a coordinator supporting individuals experiencing hikikomori (severe social withdrawal).
